PHOENIX (June 17, 2025) -- Banner Alzheimer’s Institute will offer a free virtual session for people with dementia and their care partners to reminisce on their favorite baseball memories from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 16.
The program, “Baseball ALZ-Stars,” explores and celebrates decades of standout memories around “America’s Pastime.” Experts from the Society of American Baseball Research will help to guide participants through reminiscent activities to help find the earlier memories and once again experience the joy of those moments.
The program is sponsored by Banner Alzheimer’s Institute and Banner Sun Health Research Institute.
Registration is required. Participants must have an internet connection, a computer and/or a smartphone. A link to the event will be sent with confirmation upon registration.
To register, call 602-230-CARE (2273) or visit bannerhealth.com/calendar and search the keyword “baseball.”
