The Rehabilitation Institute is 68-bed facility dedicated to highly specialized inpatient rehabilitation programs. Here you will receive a personalized therapy schedule every day, created to help you reach your recovery goals. It may include one-on-one physical, occupational or speech therapy sessions, group recreational programs, physician visits, education for you and your family, and other activities designed just for you. Together we will help you re-learn the basic activities of daily living, communication, and mobility.
Each highly collaborative rehabilitation team is focused on you and your support system. Teams are led by physicians who are board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and include occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, rehabilitation nurses, recreational therapists, dietitians, neuropsychologists, and case managers. Psychological, social, coping and adaptation skills are also addressed by experts in this area.
Our neuropsychology team specializes in helping you and your family adjust to the new challenges you may face while in rehab and when you return home. Our recreational therapy services provide the opportunity to explore leisure and social skills while adapting to disabilities.

At the Rehabilitation Institute and every one of our centers, we will consistently provide you with education about your injury treatment, wellness, and self-management. The Rehabilitation Institute provides physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM & R) and follow-up care in the rehabilitation medicine clinic to focus on health, wellness and the challenges of living and aging with a disability.
