El Centro de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial, adscrito al Instituto de Cabeza y Cuello del Centro Médico Universitario Banner de Phoenix, ofrece atención oral y maxilofacial integral. Desde cirugías orales de rutina hasta reconstrucciones maxilofaciales complejas, nuestros profesionales altamente especializados pueden ayudarle hoy mismo.

Podemos brindar atención de última generación a pacientes que buscan cirugía oral de rutina, como colocación de implantes dentales, extracción de muelas del juicio, así como servicios para aquellos que buscan cirugía maxilofacial para procedimientos de reconstrucción facial y de mandíbula más complejos por afecciones adquiridas o congénitas.

At the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center, we  collaborate with experts in other fields under Banner – University Medical Center’s academic medicine institutes including:

Conditions we routinely treat in our center include:

  • Benign oral and maxillofacial pathology, including osteoradionecrosis and medication osteonecrosis of the jaws
  • Corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery
  • Dental extractions (routine/wisdom teeth for both healthy and medically complex patients)
  • Dental extractions for patients prior to receiving radiation/chemotherapy/solid organ transplants
  • Dental implant placement
  • Facial fracture and laceration repair

  • Jaw reconstruction

Our surgeons participate in research activities and routinely attend continuing educational seminars as well serve on various leadership committees both locally and nationally.

The University of Arizona, in coordination with Banner - University Medicine, conducts a variety of research studies and clinical trials to support a commitment to improving patient care. As a patient at Banner - University Medical Center, you may be eligible to participate, meaning you'll have access to new treatments, which may not yet be available to the public.
