Program Description: Join us for the 19th Annual Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease in Native American Communities — a gathering dedicated to sharing knowledge, strengthening connections, and supporting those impacted by dementia across Indian Country. This year’s conference will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease and the latest research, as well as highlight practical, evidence-based strategies that caregivers can use to protect their own health while caring for others. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear one caregiver’s story and journey with her mother. Whether you’re a health professional, caregiver, community leader, or elder advocate, this event offers relevant insights and tools to support your work and well-being. .
Audience: This conference is intended for families and professional caregivers, health care providers, educators and tribal leaders.
